Meet Jeff! In our April Employee Spotlight, we are highlighting our Director of Operations; Jeff Gilchrist. Jeff grew up in Weston, MA and has worked with Pure Solutions since 2009.
What is your favorite part about working at Pure Solutions?
Every day presents different challenges and opportunities to learn, both as an individual and as a team.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I greatly enjoy running, especially trail running.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
I take a lot of pride in the fact that I have helped Pure Solutions get to where we are today.
Who inspires you?
Anyone who is at the top of their field, sport, or endeavor.
What are you passionate about?
I am most passionate about the mountains and the ocean. Also, just simply being outside.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Dependable, Determined and Gritty.
What drew you to Pure Solutions?
It was presented to me in 2009 as a high school summer job. It was a great opportunity to work with some great people and have the ability to work outdoors.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us?
I have never been to Chick-fil-a, Taco Bell, Popeyes and many other common fast food establishments.
What is your favorite part about working at Pure Solutions?
My favorite thing is the work environment and how we accomplish the goals and standards we set for ourselves.
What is something that you learned about lawn care from working with Pure Solutions?
The ability to adapt. In operations it is a given that equipment will fail, rain will fall, and things will simply not always go as planned. The ability to see what is going on and make changes on the fly is essential in our industry.
