Meet Seamus! In our June Employee Spotlight, we are highlighting our one of our Field Specialists: Seamus O'Connell. Seamus grew up in Northbridge, MA and has worked with Pure Solutions for 3 years.
What is your favorite part about working at Pure Solutions?20200612_123709
My favorite part of working here is working outside. I love being able to just enjoy the fresh air while working.
What is something most people don't know about you?
Something most people might not know about me is I enjoy playing dungeons and dragons and other tabletop rpgs like Traveler or The Witcher TTRPG.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
Mainly my Alarm, I usually like to sleep in. I do genuinely enjoy my work so that does help me get up even if I would like to sleep in.
Who inspires you?
I would say a few people living and dead. Saints Jeanne d'Arc, Thomas Aquinas, and John Paul II, my Father, and my friends are big influences on my life.
What are you passionate about?
I really enjoy spending time at the Movie Theater if I'm able, and there are good movies out.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Jovial, Steadfast, and Attentive
What drew you to Pure Solutions?
I'll be honest I was looking for a job after having been laid off, and thought I'd try something that could provide steady work and higher pay than I was used too at that point in my life.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us?
Many people may not know this, but I am a former Americorps NCCC member.
What is something that you learned about lawn care from working with Pure Solutions?
I learned that Ticks don't actually die off in the winter but have a two-year life cycle.
Each month, we’ll be featuring an interview here on the blog and on our social accounts.
