What is organic lawn management?

Posted by Peter DiClemente on Apr 26, 2016 12:30:00 PM

An organic lawn uses only natural methods and no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or chemical herbicides. This is better in comparison to conventional fertilizers and pesticides because the sprays and compounds they use destroy your soil’s natural ecosystem, causing the lawn to become chemically dependent and rely on those chemicals to sustain it.

This is the vicious circle that most of our lawns find themselves in today; the lawn becomes a “junkie”. Unlike the organic lawn seen below:

What successful organic lawn care looks like!

With an organic lawn care treatment program, we progressively help to build up beneficial nutrients and organisms that occur naturally in the soil and surrounding native environment. By helping the soil’s natural ecosystem, the lawn becomes more sustainable and better able to withstand pests, disease and drought problems.
